Do you offer sourdough pickup in Edmond, Oklahoma?
Yes. Local pickup is available for fresh-baked sourdough orders. Pickup options are shown at checkout when available.
Do you deliver sourdough in the Oklahoma City area?
Yes. Jen’s Buns offers local delivery in select Oklahoma City and Edmond area locations. Available delivery options appear at checkout based on your address.
Can I ship sourdough bread?
Yes. Many Jen’s Buns products are available for shipping. Orders are baked fresh, packaged carefully, and shipped using the available shipping options at checkout.
What is the best sourdough loaf for first-time customers?
The Sourdough Flight is a great choice for first-time customers because it includes four mini loaves so you can try a variety of flavors. Classic Sourdough is best for everyday use, while Jalapeño & Cheddar is a customer favorite for savory bread lovers.
What is a Sourdough Flight?
A Sourdough Flight is a sampler of four mini sourdough loaves. It is perfect for first-time orders, gifting, sharing, or trying multiple flavors before choosing a full-size loaf.
How long does fresh sourdough last?
Fresh sourdough is best enjoyed within the first few days. For longer storage, slice and freeze your loaf, then toast slices as needed.
How should I store sourdough bread?
Store sourdough at room temperature in a bread bag, paper bag, or wrapped loosely to help preserve the crust. Avoid storing fresh bread in the refrigerator because it can dry out faster.
Are your products made to order?
Yes. Jen’s Buns bakes in small batches, and many items are made to order so they arrive fresh for pickup, local delivery, or shipping.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days). You'll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.
What if my package is delayed?
Once your order is in the hands of USPS, delivery timing is outside of our control. We always ship fresh and on time, but occasional carrier delays can happen.
When will my order ship?
Orders are baked fresh and shipped as quickly as possible. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order leaves our kitch.
Freshness & Storage
When is your bread baked?
Every loaf is made fresh to order and baked just before shipping to ensure it arrives at its best.
How should I store my bread?
Store at room temperature in a sealed bag for up to 3 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze – then toast or warm when ready to enjoy.
Can I freeze sourdough bread?
Yes! Sourdough freezes beautifully. We recommend slicing before freezing so you can easily grab a piece whenever you want.
Products & Ingredients
What ingredients do you use?
We use simple, high-quality ingredients: bread flour, water, salt, and our active sourdough starter. Some flavors may include additional ingredients like cheese, herbs, or other inclusions.
Are your products made with commercial yeast?
Our sourdough breads are naturally leavened using our sourdough starter. Some specialty items (like ciabatta) may use yeast, and this will always be clearly listed in the product description.
Do your products contain allergens?
All products contain wheat (gluten). Some flavors may include dairy or other allergens. Please refer to each product listing for full ingredient details.
